In 2025, a researcher was stopped at Houston airport with 90GB of publicly funded breast cancer research — charged with theft of trade secrets. The question isn't who stole what. It's why publicly funded research is a trade secret. Knowledge fragments, gets locked away, dies. We walk in place as a species while individually sprinting.
The Approach
EthosArk is an open directory of projects for humanity. The community identifies real problems, votes on which projects to build, and develops them together under a unified framework. Everything produced is open, shared, replicable. Open vertical farming specs any community can replicate. Unified cancer research instead of twenty labs duplicating in secret.
